You don't expect much because you pick out things to put in your order, like tofu, veggies, various meats, etc, that are all stocked on two convenience-store style fridges next to the front doors. You also get to decide on what kind of broth to use. With these ingredients in your basket, you wouldn't think much about what would come out of it. But you write your name on sticky note and slap it on your basket and sit at a table and wait for a few minutes. What came out was pretty good, especially on a cold winter day. There's a lot of soup to go with the order too so don't worry about having too many put inside your bowl, you'll be fine. Service was friendly and quick, my only qualm about this place was that the prices for some of the things in the fridges were hard to see or were not available at all. If you haven't been to this style of restaurant: You order by picking out ingredients and a broth and bringing them to the counter. There's a good amount of options for meats and vegetables. They also have a few other cooked dishes available to order, like takoyaki.
